W7 Lightly Toasted Eyeshadow Palette In The Buff

Now that I’m back in Ireland a while I’ve had the opportunity to buy lots of products that weren’t readily available in Australia. The W7 palettes were hard to come by so I was looking forwarding one. I bought the W7 Lightly Toasted Eyeshadow palette. I wasn’t left disappointed by this bargain palette so keep reading to hear the pros, cons and pics.

Product Claims:

W7’s Lightly Toasted eye shadow palette contains 12 powdered eye shadow shades. The colours range from nudes to coppers and golds that are long lasting and blendable.

The colours provide excellent coverage as they are highly pigmented and provide little fallout. Apply with or without a primer – these eyeshadows are not prone to creasing.

Due to its sturdy, metal tin, Lightly Toasted can be slipped into a handbag or luggage without the risk of damage when out and about.

Lightly Toasted provides classic and versatile colours to mix and blend to suit your ideal look.

My Thoughts:

For those of you that lust over the naked palettes from Urban Decay you’ll love the similar colour selection in the palettes from W7. This one is similar to the original Naked 1 and their other palettes are known as dupes for other Naked palettes. Now whether they’re actual dupes or not is another thing but the shadows have similar colours.

There’s 12 eyeshadows which are labelled on the back. There’s Teddy bear, wonderland, Cracker, Happy, Lady Luck, Twister, Di Di, Delilah, Magic, It’s A Dream, Up in smoke and dawn.

Cracker and Lady Shake are the only two matte shades in the palette and the others are all shimmer. Cracker and Lady Shake are both decent transition colours. The only think I’ll say is missing from this W7 Lightly Toasted Eyeshadow palette is a dark matte shade.

There’s great colour options in the W7 Lightly Toasted Eyeshadow palette from Rose gold, bronze, gold, copper and grey. There’s even a nice rusty shade.

I found all the shadows easy to use. They all had good colour pay off and were easy to blend. I was impressed by how long they lasted well on the lid. Even without a primer they didn’t crease but I would use a primer just to prolong the wear anyway if you can.

Here’s one of the looks I created using this palette.

The packaging is sturdy and even though it reminds me of my old pencil case in school. In saying that, because it’s a hard case it’s going to keep the product safe and that’s what you want.

My favourite shadows are Magic, Delilah, Di Di and Twister. The palette is one for you if you love shimmer eyeshadows.

This is worth the purchase especially if you’re looking to expand your collection or you’re buying on a budget. The cheapest I’ve seen this is 7.50 from Cara Pharmacy! You really can’t go wrong.

  1. This palette looks great although those two darkest shades don’t look as pigmented as I wanted to. I think these palette can be a good alternative for more expensive ones. 😉

    1. Yes they’re not as pigmented as the others. My four favourite shades are definitely the most pigmented. For such an affordable palette I think it’s good 😊

  2. This looks really quite impressive! And the price point is just fantastic. I’ve never tried the W7 range but I’ve read so much awesome stuff about some of their products it’s just a matter of time before I try them out for myself.
