As I’ve been living in Australia for the last number of years I haven’t gotten the chance to try a lot of Irish products. I was delighted that the Nia 2 Step Facial Cleansing Balm was included in the goody bag at the Irish Beauty Blog awards. I love supporting Irish brands and I love oil cleansers so I opened this up straight away. The results were instant. I’m really impressed because this brand uses only natural ingredients.
‘Gentle yet effective 2 step wash off facial cleansing balm suitable for daily cleansing and heavy make-up removal on even sensitive skin. Use daily to leave skin clean, soft and radiant.’
‘Apply onto damp skin, including the eye and neck area. Remove with the supplied cleansing cloths for maximum benefit. Supplied with 3 x cleansing cloths and spatula.’
‘Soft white cleansing cloths are made from 100% natural wood fibres and cellulose, they are 100% Boi-degradable and 100% Recyclable.’
The box includes 3 cleansing cloths, a spatula and a jar of goodness (the cleansing balm!). All are 100% natural which I love.
This Nia cleansing balms smells amazing. If you were to lie down and have someone following the steps for you it would be like having a facial in a spa. Honestly, the scent is that good!
I followed the steps which are mentioned above which are easy to follow. The cleansing balm feels great and more importantly it removes everything. It even removes my eye makeup in one swipe so it’s really gentle but effective.
I usually pre-cleanse with micellar water so I tested with and without the pre-cleanse. I was thinking the micellar water was removing the majority of makeup etc. bur even still this cleansing balm picked up a lot more residue than I thought.
This Nia cleansing balm is really gentle on my skin and has made my skin feel so hydrated and soft. The results are instant in that it completely brightens my skin.
I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about the Nia cleansing balm. I’m so impressed. If you like oil cleansers you will love the Nia cleansing balm too.
You can pick this up at Nia.ie and it costs 19.95 euro.
