Cannes Film Festival Opening Night-Red Carpet Favourites

The 69th annual Cannes Film Festival opening night was held yesterday with a number of fashionable stars making their way to the event’s prestigious red carpet. Today I’ll be sharing with you my red carpet favourites.

First up is oh so glamorous Bake Lively who was one of the first stars to arrive on the red carpet. Blake, who just announced that she’s expecting her second child stole the spotlight in a stunning sparkly gown. The gown skimmed her figure perfectly. It was a nude glittery dress with a train. She accessorised with some statement jewels and diamond rings. Her hair was worn in loose curls draped over one shoulder and her makeup was kept simple with a pop of pink on the lips.

Jessica Chastain stood out from the crowd in a gorgeous bright yellow dress. The strapless dress was accessorised with a sparkling diamond lead necklace. This little number hugged her curves in all the right places. Her ginger locks were tousled and she wore a subtle smokey eye to finish the look.

Eva Longoria appeared in a pretty two piece which featured a white skirt and a pale gold top. The top featured tiny embellished detailing and long sleeves. The skirt clung to her waist and flared out just the right amount at the end. Her hair was tousled and worn half up and half down.

Bella Hadid looked absolutely stunning. Ser highlighted her slender figure in a nude lace and embellished gown. The dress featured a plunging neckline and cut outs at the back. She accessorised with statement silver choker and a dainty sparkling bracelet. She wore her hair slicked back in a pony tail and her makeup was kept simple and dewy.
