Essence Silky Touch Blush Review

Hey Everyone!

Today I’m sharing with you a review on one of the most amazing affordable blushes that I’ve tried this year. It’s the Essence Silky Touch of Blush.

Product Claims:

‘silk skin: a fresh complexion is essential for perfect style! you can set gorgeous, natural-looking highlights in soft as well as brighter shades on your cheeks with this silky-soft blush.’

My Thoughts:

These blushes are available in a wide range of colours meaning there is something to suit everyone. If you’re looking to experiment with different shades of blush then this is the perfect chance because they are so affordable that you can definitely pick up a couple of shades to achieve different looks.I  picked up a shade I wouldn’t usually go for which is a peachy shade called Summer Dreaming.

These blushes are soft and creamy even though the main ingredient is talc. It’s quite understandable considering how affordable they are but even some higher end powder products have talc as their main ingredient. They apply perfectly, not too bright which is what you want from a blush. It’s nice to be able to build up the colour on your cheeks.

The colours are great. A bit shimmery but not too glittery like some other drugstore blushes. I would say they last about 5 hours on the skin without any need to reapply. I’ve been complimented by how pretty and soft this blush looks on the skin.

I 100% recommend these blushes to everyone. They are so pretty, so easy to blend and so affordable. I can’t wait to pick up some more shades. There are 4 shades in the Silky Touch range and there’s also two shades available in the Matt Touch range.

They are available in most pharmacies in Ireland as well as Pennys and Primark. In Australia you can pick them up in Priceline or Target.

  1. I’ve been meaning to try out some Essence blushes, don’t really feel the need to splurge on blushes since I don’t reaaalllly use blush THAT often/don’t feel like it’s a product to splurge on haha. Think I will definitely seriously look into getting some! 🙂

    1. I love having options of colours but most of my blushes are drugstore just so I can experiment! These are $5.10 in Australia! You’d get hardly anything for that price here lol

        1. It’s the best way to find out what suits. I’ll definitely be picking up some more peachy toned blush after trying this one. I usually stick with Rose tones. You’ll definitely get used to Aussie pricing 😊 I’ve a post coming up this week on moving to Australia so you might be interested in that 😊 x
